Welcome to my website; my name is Aman (pronounced like 'shaman' without the “sh”).

I started music on the clarinet: It was the only instrument around the house that wasn’t being played yet. However, trumpet was present in most of my favorite music growing up, and I started getting into Dizzy Gillespie. My parents ended up getting me a trumpet to play on.

Since then I’ve been playing trumpet for over 15 years, while picking up voice and keys along the way. My first band was with my brothers - The Brotet. I went on to play with folks from a variety of styles and settings including Jeff Bernat, The North State Symphony, The Temptations, Lorna Such, Colossus West, and many others. I have a lot of gratitude for the experiences and places music has brought me. I still look forward to learning more about music and myself, and to what the future may hold.
